Motorists exceeding the speed limit ... to finally get one second before the other at a red light, it's ridiculous, is not it?
That is what the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) and its agency Amalgame put forward in their most recent advertising campaign, launched Monday June 21.
A 30-second spot shows two drivers who understood that it did not have much to be impatient in urban areas. Among them, a man hurries to accelerate, which does not prevent him from having to stop at the next traffic light, at their sides.
On the radio, a message in English uses the speed… of sound. The sound tack is sometimes accelerated, sometimes in slow motion.
The SAAQ also broadcasts a message designed last year, shot in an area of 90 km / h, which shows that increasing speed to 110 km / h over a distance of 15 km, can make us earn only two minutes.
