The Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) has revised on the increase the cost of the damages due to the storm that occurred on June 10. Initially estimated at $56 million, IBC now speaks of damages estimated between $100 and $150 million. "The insurers have revised their reserves and their indemnities during the last few days, which explains the rise. Damages are more important than what was initially anticipated", said Alexandre Royer, spokesman for the IBC, at FlashFinance.ca. On 10th of June, thunderstorms accompanied by high winds and hail, had caused damages all across the province of Quebec.
